  • The Masters Course is one of the finest in Europe comprising eight or nine new or redesigned holes by Donald Steel. It regularly houses the Scandinavian Masters and was the scene of Europes dramatic victory in the 2002 Solheim Cup.
  • The second course is named after Donald Steel. Very few architects have had such an honor bestowed upon them.
  • The 17th hole on the Masters Course was voted Best Hole in Sweden in a poll by Golf Digest Sweden in 1997.

In the last few years, Barsebäck has become one of the most popular staging grounds on the European Tour. It is a first class test, is readily accessible and can absorb large crowds better than almost any other.

It is also a short helicopter ride from Copenhagen Airport. Now that the exciting new bridge from Malmo to Copenhagen is opened, it will be even more in demand - Scandinavia's best bet for a future Ryder Cup. Donald Steel carried out major design work in building a fourth nine holes as well as amending some existing holes to launch two courses.
